What airport is recommended to use?
The Salt Lake City Airport.
How far is the airport from the hotel?
The airport is a 45 minute scenic drive to the hotel.
Who makes housing arrangements?
Each individual is responsible for making their own hotel reservations. Please call the hotel direct at 1-888-226-9667 by August 21, 2009. The room rate is $139 at the
Grand Summit, $119 at the Sundial Lodge and $99 at the Silverado Lodge. Mention “HK Systems Material Handling & Logistics Conference” when making reservations to receive the discounted room rate.
Will I need to rent a car for the conference?
For recreational activity, renting a car is up to you. However all conference events will take place at the hotel.
Is there a shuttle service?
Yes, shuttle service is available from the Salt Lake City Airport to The Grand Summit.
What should you do when you arrive at the hotel?
A registration area will be set up on the mezzanine level of the lobby for you to check in and receive all conference materials. You will also be able to inquire about evening events in this area.
What is the difference between the Grand Summit, Sundial and Silverado?
All conference activities are held at the Grand Summit. The Sundial Lodge and Silverado Lodges are just steps away.
What is considered proper attire for the conference?
Attire for this event is business casual for conference sessions and event appropriate for social and networking events.
What is the weather typically like in September?
Being in the mountains the weather can change with a moment’s notice. We have had everything from snow to beautiful sunny days. The highs are typically in the sixties with lows in the forties.
Will the hotel business center be available for use?
The hotel business center will be available for use 24 hours a day during the conference.
Will I receive copies of all session presentations?
When checking in at the registration desk you will receive a welcome packet and conference proceedings which includes most session presentations.
What meals will be provided during the conference?
Dinner on Sunday. Breakfast, lunch and dinner on Monday and Tuesday. Breakfast on Wednesday.
Is WIFI available?
Yes.
How can my company become a sponsor?
Complete and fax the sponsor form.
How can I promote my company and product?

What is the guest/spouse program?
The Guest Program is an annual tradition and an important part of The Material Handling & Logistics Conference. The program provides your spouse/guest an opportunity to take in all that Park City has to offer, while you enjoy the educational conference programming. Your spouse/guest will rejoin you for all evening social events.
How can a material handling vendor/supplier attend?
Conference attendance is limited to end users only. Vendor/supplier attendance is only available with Sponsorship.
