Speaker:
Kim Collins - Director, Strategy and Business Development
RealTime Media

Kim's expertise in digital promotions is truly 360: In the online sphere she's worked from the brand, agency and publisher perspective - in creative, development, management and strategy. She brings her unique background and enthusiasm for new technologies to every new project she concepts, making sure to customize the program to meet each client's unique objectives. Kim has provided those services for clients like CNN, Adidas, MAC Cosmetics, Publisher's Clearinghouse, Hershey's, Trojan Condoms, and more. Kim's obsession with social media technology is almost as old as the internet itself. She left her MFA program after discovering the Internet and all the ways she could communicate and connect with people all around the world: through IRC, boards, blogs, and IM. Kim brought her fascination with the Internet's ability to connect people and create new social groups and identities into her career, developing programs and promotions that extend brand content and interaction out to users where they are, pioneering new advertising models and tell-a-friend systems. What once was IRC, boards, and Geocities is now Twitter, TXT, and Facebook. But new technologies and communications styles are growing every day, and Kim's there watching, playing, and strategizing how they will enhance future marketing campaigns.
