The science of business intelligence has evolved to keep pace with the change of workforce, and is more visual than ever. The key to such visual analysis is the iterative process of asking questions, creating pictures, discovering new hypotheses, and foraging for data. In this talk, you'll learn: What this 'cycle of visual analysis' is and how to effectively reason about data visually; what your software can do to support effective Q&A sessions of data; and how to rapidly discover the major trends and patterns of your data including outliers and exceptions.
