Rick Lawton has been an engineering manager for Safeway Inc. since 2006. Safeway is a major food and drug retailer in North America. His focus is on project management for the corporate logistics group. Rick's project work covers all warehousing projects including energy savings, building modifications, lighting upgrades, racking layouts and installations as well as many others. Prior to coming to Safeway, Rick worked for United Parcel Service as a facility engineering manager and project engineer. Rick has written recommendations for and executed hundreds of projects over the past 16 years and understands the importance of communicating to decision makers a compelling case for investing their money wisely.
